Course Objective

The Fellowship in Nephrology has been designed as a comprehensive one year programme in all aspects of Nephrology including kidney-related disorders, for instance, renal failure, glomerular diseases, and infections of the urinary tract and kidney.  The blended learning method of the course covers multiple presentations, and live lectures and gives a clinical and theoretical deep understanding to improve and developed a nephrology knowledge.

Course Description

  • Participants explore the multifaceted nature of kidney function as well as the fundamental causes of renal disorders.
  • Under the supervision of skilled nephrologists, participants obtain practical training in diagnosing and treating a range of kidney disorders.
  • Participants gain knowledge of evidence-based techniques for managing a frequent comorbidity—blood pressure in people with renal disorders.
  • Lectures, seminars, case-based discussions, workshops, and one-on-one mentorship, to facilitate learnings for Nephrology.
  • Specialized training will be provided in renal replacement therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation.
  • Engage in real-time lectures delivered by experienced nephrology faculty, covering key topics in renal physiology, pathology, clinical nephrology, and more.
  • Collaborative learning and information sharing are promoted through interactive talks, case studies, and Q&A sessions with instructors and other participants.
